Area Description:

The centuries" old Provencal village of Eyragues is situated between Avignon and the Camargue close to historic Saint-Remy-de-Provence. The village is the perfect starting point for days out exploring historic Provence or perhaps visiting the wild horses, bulls and flamingoes of the Camargue.Provence has something for everyone - cultural and historic highlights can be found from Saint-Remy de Provence and Les Baux de Provence to Point du Gard, Arles, Nimes, Avignon and Aix-en-Provence to mention a few. Or follow Van Gogh"s tracks through his most creative period - on a day trip all are easily possible.
