Property Description:

Very spacious two-storey attached villa of 110m2 on each floor - suitable for two families sharing - with private garden and with accomodation for up to nine guests. The property is located in the rear grounds of a former priory dating from the 18th century -now authentically converted into a selection of eight character farmhouse apartments. The priory has since served as an inn for pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostella then a centre for the production of silk and now a selection of character holiday properties. Although attached by one adjoining wall the villa is situated at the opposite elevation separate from the main converted priory building with a long private garden and individual entrance but sharing the swimming pool, extensive walled grounds and other facilities of the main Residence. The properties are uniquely situated in the centre of the large thriving village of Graveson which is midway - and approximately 11km from -St Remy de Provence and Avignon - a perfect location for a holiday in Provence. The properties are all individually named from French impressionist artists who spent time in Provence. In total there are eight apartments in addition to the Monet villa so there is the possibility of renting one or more of the other properties, if required, for larger groups of family or friends to holiday together. Linen and towels are available to hire on request and there are shared laundry facilities. The resident French owners are available throughout to make their guests’ visit relaxing and memorable and offer occasional breakfasts and meals by arrangement

Graveson, with its' 12th century Romanesque church and its' museum, offers many of the flavours of the region with its bakeries, weekly provencal market and restaurants
