Property Description:

La Grande Triponiere has a large open plan lounge, dining room and american style kitchen. It has 4 double bedrooms, 2 with double beds and 2 with twin beds. One of the twin bedded rooms is on the ground floor. The luxury bathroom and laundry room with corner bath and walk in shower is also on the ground floor, as is a separate WC. There is a second WC on the first floor.There is a wood burning stove and electric central heating.

There is also a large mezzanine lounge on the first floor with a double futon bed and a double sofa bed in the downstairs lounge. This means that the maximum number the property can sleep is 12.

We also have a second smaller gite, La Petite Triponiere, that sleeps a maximum of 6. This separate gite has all the same amenities, Kitchen / diner / large lounge.Two double bedrooms - one with twin beds and one with double bed. Mezzanine lounge with double futon bed. Bathroom with shower above bath and W.C. Ground floor W.C.Dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, hi-fi, TV and video. La Petite Triponiere is available for rent at a slightly lower price. Area Description:

La Grande Triponiere stands in 6 acres of its own grounds and is surrounded by the beautiful 'Foret de la Petite Charnie'. It is near the village of Neuvillette en Charnie and 15 minutes drive from the small , historical town of Sille le Guillaume.

We are situated in the Department of Sarthe but almost on the border of the Department of The Mayenne. This gives easy access to a varied and interesting area with medieval towns, Chateaux and beautiful lakes and rivers.

The major cities of Le Mans (with its 24 hr race) and Laval are only a short drive away.

Visit Sille le Guillaume with its chateau, lake with watersports, fishing and beach.

St Suzanne is a medieval village only 10 minutes drive away, you can walk along the ancient ramparts here.

Jublains is nearby - visit the roman baths and the museum.
