Welcome to Anna Livia ... please come in! Anna Livia is typically known as a ''Vigneronne''. It used to be owned by a winegrower master.It has a large garage on the ground floor with the living area above on the first and second floors. You enter through an iron gate with interphone, which leads you to the garden. You will find the fenced swimming pool (8 x 4) and the lovely gravelled garden. There is a flight of steps to the 1st floor bringing you to the main entrance. Here there is a large terrace, which gives you full view on the garden, and it is partly shaded by foliage, much appreciated when the midday sun appears. Inside there is a large L shaped living room with marble fireplace, and outside a charming balcony. There is a generous kitchen/dining room area that leads by French doors onto the terrace. There is a downstairs WC. You get to the second floor by a stone staircase with iron balustrade. There are four bedrooms giving views on the village and the countryside. There is a shower room and a w.c on this floor. Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 3 have double beds. Bedroom 2 has two sets of bunk beds, i.e. sleeping 4. Bedroom 4 has a king size bed + ensuite bathroom. Two cots are also available.

Puimisson is a pretty village located only 10 minutes from Beziers on the D909 and set within the largest and oldest wine-producing region in France. 20 minutes is all it takes by car to view the magnificent Languedoc coast and its white sandy beaches. The ancient cities of Beziers, Narbonne and Carcassone are waiting to be explored... For something different, why not extend your visit north to Provence (90 minutes) or south to Spain (2 hours, Barcelona 3 hours). You can enjoy real holidays in Puimisson as all amenities are so close to hand: there is a cafe/bar, a baker, a butcher, and a newsagent, a post office as well as a small playground area for the children. You will also taste the local products at the market which takes place twice a week in Puimisson. You can also pay a visit to friendly neighbouring wine producers. A Supermarket as well as petrol and bank facilities are close by in Magalas (5 minutes by car). Restaurants are not far in Magalas or even Beziers. Alternatively, take it easy and have your traditional pizza delivered to your French doorstep!Area Activities

Visit the Lute maker of international reputation, view the XVI castle where the Mairie now resides. *Pleasures of the Sea: An excellent choice of beaches, natural preserved areas, an eco beach and related activities: sailing, nautical sports. * Pleasures of the Mountains (from 20 minutes): The Regional Park of Haut-Languedoc and its exceptional scenery is a must. It offers a wide range of activities: hiking, fishing, Canoe-Kayaking, mountain biking * Children / Family activities: Sigean Animals Reserve/Safari Park (40 minutes), Cactus Park at Bessan (25 minutes), Aqualand at Cap d'Agde (water park, 30 minutes), lake and river swimming and don't forget many sand castles to be built! * Golf: enjoy three golf courses, all within 30 minutes drive * Something different: parachute jumps, paragliding and hand-gliding, view the region from a plane ... ***We will be happy to provide more information on request***

Special interestsMountain Sports : Canoe-Kayak: Go down the river orb on canoye-cayak. Details at Reals base, 10 minutes drive from the house. Also lovely mountain hiking and climbing at Gorges d'Heric. Go to Mons La Trivalle and follow signs for Gorges d'Heric.Festival : If you are going in July - Look out for any 14th July celebrations and enjoy pretending being one of us! Also in July, don't miss the Oc festival in Beziers In August, don't miss the Feria in the arenas (usually mid-Aug.). White Water : If you want a refreshing change from the beach or the pool, make sure to visit the Gorges d'Heric or Gorges de Colombieres. The river orb upstream has created natural pools of water in the rocks. Scenery is superb, water is transparent and children Beach : If you want to see a wild beach, make sure to stop on the road between Marseillan-Plage and Sete. The waves are usually big here and it feels wild. Superb view also. Lake : You can drive up to Lac de Salagou towards Clermont l'Herault. Much closer, visit the Lunas base. An open air swimming base ideal for kids and set in lovely mountain landscapes. Go to Bedarieux, follow signs for la Tour sur Orb and then signs for L Para Gliding : Go to Font-Romeu (2 hours drive) or Andorra Barging : Go to Pezenas and don't forget your purse. The loveliest shops will await you and you can view antique shops collections. |
