Area Description:

Boutiques, cafes, bars with live music and restaurants are within a five to ten minute walk and just a few minutes more will take you to the fabulous historic buildings or the indoor gourmet market. Many of the city's streets and bridges are laden with floral baskets welcoming visitors to smell the flowers and enjoy its relaxed pace. Just a minute's walk away is a pretty park with a boules pitch and wonderful little playground at one end and a canal view and little stream at the other making an ideal spot to lie in the sun or under the shade of the trees. Narbonne is perfectly situated for a beautiful 15 minute drive to the beach or heading off further afield to explore the historic sites of the region such as Carcassonne, Minerve, Sete, Collioure, and the wine regions of Corbieres and Minervois.
