Garden - the large terraced garden offers a fantastic (unheated) 10 x 5 metre infinity pool 1.3 metres deep, with panoramic views, sunbathing in full sunlight and also secluded and shady areas for relaxation. There is a studio with a sleeping platform and barbecue area with outdoors table and seating for 12 people. The garden leads up through several levels to a "belvedere" tower with commanding views of the area.

Swimming and windsurfing at Lac du Salagou; beautiful medieval Pezenas, Moliere's birthplace; the Abbey Gellone at Saint-Guilhem-le-Desert; Villeneuvette, founded by Colbert in 1677; fantastical terrain at Mourezes ­ all within 30 minutes drive. Local marked walks ­ 5-20km.

A deposit of 50% of the rent confirms booking. The full balance is payable four weeks before departure, together with a returnable deposit of £200. Prices include gas, electricity and linen. Guests are asked to provide their own towels.
