Property Description:

You arrive at Lartigolle through traditional ornate gates and down a sweeping drive. The chateau has 22 acres to explore including 10 acres of forest. There is a brand new tennis court, swimming pool, orchards and a vineyard. We also have a full size pool table and games room/tv room with UK cable tv!

The interior has been completely refurbished. A mix of soho chic with tasteful antiques, chandeliers and venetian mirrors. The bedrooms are a more classical Chateau style and include a Chinese room and a blue toile room.

We will cater for summer holidays, weekend visitors, birthday parties, weddings. You can stay a night a week or a month. You can rent the entire property as self-catering for yourself and friends but most guests prefer to be fully catered for by our resident chef. A choice of menus are available on request.

Area Description:

The Chateau is set within 22 acres of beautiful grounds in the town of Pessan. The Chateau is perched on the highest point in the Gers, from the gates you can see the Pyrenees. Rolling hills and valleys stretch out in all directions.

The property is well situated, just 40 minutes from the thriving City of Toulouse and 90 minutes from skiing in the Pyrenees. There are numerous daily flights from all over the UK – BA, Air France, EasyJet, RyanAir and FlyBe all fly to the region.

Area Activities

The property is just 10 minutes from Auch. Built on and around a hill on the west bank of the Gers River, the early Basque settlement of Auch is the home of the legendary fourth musketeer, D'Artagnan.

There are many medival villages and sites to explore. Condom is the capital of the Armagnac region and boasts the spectacular Cathedrale Saint-Pierre with the Musee de l'Armagnac alongside. Close to Condom is Larressingle, a petite medieval fortified village and a few km west is the 4th- century Gallo-Roman villa, Seviac with remarkable frescoes and ancient vines.
