Property Description:

Set in a valley of woodlands and meadows with direct access to the river Lot. The Lantouy itself is a pure underground water source creating a lake in nearby woods from which runs the Lantouy river through the grounds, bringing with it a richness of nature and peacefulness. There are no distractions nearby to disturb the quiet. The gite provides its own privac and embraces the abundant nature all around. Self catering with hot water, heating and with log burners for the cooler months. Ice making machine, freezer and laundry facilities are also available. Area Description:

The property is on the border of the departments of Aveyron and Lot in the Vallee du Lot. Nearest village is Cajarc which is 2 km away and is equidistant from Figeac (Lot) and Villefranche de Rouergue (Aveyron).
Two ancient regional names are often used in the area. From here northward through the Lot is 'Quercy' and southward is the 'Rouergue'. Together these areas are called 'Quercy-Rouergue'.
Nestling in oak wooded valley amongst the lime plateau Causses de Quercy.
