Property Description:

Formally the hamlet bakery this cottage has been restored to a high standard retaining many features, such as wood beams and exposed stonework. Private and peaceful with only the birdlife to disturb and views of vineyards.
There is an excellent woodburner for winter months and an 11x6m fenced pool for summer.
The house will comfortably sleep 6 people and has all the modern comforts required to ensure a stress free holiday. Just pack a bag and come.
We live nearby and are available for help, assistance or information, should you need it, or we'll just leave you to enjoy your holiday.

Area Description:

This area is famous for vineyards and of course the wine. We can offer advice and organise wine tastings. Discover the wine of the region for yourself, as much of it is so good it never leaves here! The prices will astound you. Very good wine starts at only 5 euros a bottle. Or buy it by 5 litre containers like the locals, and the price comes down to 2.50 a litre!

The region is also about food. Excellent seafood, foie gras, truffles, mushrooms, duck and wild boar are just some of the menu specialities of the area. If you are a vegetarian, don't worry this region is catching on to that too, so you won't be looked at as if you have 2 heads!

We are situated right on the borders of 3 regions; Dordogne, Gironde and Perigord. Making this an ideal base for exploring all these regions have to offer, from; Grand Chateaux, Historical Roman sites, Bastide Towns, Pre-Historic Caves, to great shopping in Bordeaux.
