Property Description:
This beautiful 300 year old longere style farm-house is full of original character and makes an ideal holiday location for relaxation or visiting tourist locations. It is large with masses of living room space. It is priced from only £245 for a couple in low and mid season season. It has been fully renovated and is well furnished and very comfortable.Long term rental is available from October to April - from only £135 per week plus bills minimum 4 week stay. It has a large Kitchen/breakfast room which is fully equipped with all appliances. It also has a woodburner and 2 comfy armchairs. There is a Double Bedroom with an En Suite Shower Room. The Living Room is very big with a large feature fireplace and woodburner. This leads onto the Sun Room which has 2 archchairs and lovely views over the garden and neighbouring farmland. Off this is the Twin Bedroom with 2 single beds - ideal for children or adults. Opposite is the downstairs Shower Room with toilet and basin.
It is located just over the border from Normandy in Brittany in between Avranches and Fougeres. It is well positioned for visting all the tourist areas and local beaches only 20 minutes drive away.
In low season it is possible to rent the house for smaller parties of 2-4 providing quality accomodation at a very reasonable price from only £245 per week or just £35 per night - minimum of 3 nights. In low season and at weekends or we can also provide bed and breakfast for upto 4 people from just 1 night - please ask for details and availability.
Linen is included in the price, towels are included and also cots and a highchair. Gas is included for holiday rentals, electricity is charged at 10 cents per unit in low and mid season.

Area Description:
The house is set in beautiful tranquil farmland just over the Normandy border in Brittany in Ille et Villaine region.
It is very private but not isolated - the village is only 3 km away and takes about 20 minutes to walk there. Main shops and supermarkets are only 5 minutes drive away in St James.
It is only 10 minutes from J32 of the A84 making it easily accesible from all major ferry ports and airports.
Area Activities
There is Leisure water park at St Martin des Langelles only 10 mins drive away. This has water slides, a huge pool, go karts, quad bikes and lots of other activiites.
Avranches is only 15 mins drive and full of restaurants, cafes bars and very good shops including 5 large super/hypermrkets.
Mont St Michel is only 20 mins drive away and not to be missed. St Malo and Dinan are also only about 30 - 40 minutes drive.
The beaches both to the North and South of the Baie of Mont St Michel in Normandy and Brittany are only about 20 mins.
Fougeres - a wonderful mediaeval town with a superb castle and gardens is just 10 mins drive.
St James town with the famous St James clothes Boutique is only 5km and the war cemetary is 10 mins.
The DDay beaches north of Caen and other cemetaries at Omaha can be reached in an hour.
There is a wonderful Zoo at Beauchamps 40 mins, and a Reptilarium 30 mins near Mont St Michel. Plus a host of other attractions for children and adults.
The whole area is a must for cyclists and walkers and full of wildlife
