Property Description:
Les Mirandes is an old french maison de maitre with its own ambiance and stile, and is situated just beyond the city of Montmoreau. This lovely Bed and Breakfast welcomes you with a blend of French and Dutch hospitality.The situation gives you the opportunity to enjoy a very special and nice view about the surroundings.
The rooms we offer you each have their own style and ambiance and give you the opportunity to enjoy the rest and harmony the place breezes.
Each room has its own modern bathroom, further you can make your own coffee and tea. In the diningroom you can make fresh coffee. During the day you can use your room at any time you want. There are four to six rooms available for combined groups.
Of course you can use the swimmingpool and you can enjoy all the possibilities the place offers, like the orchard, the vineyard or a choice of seating areas.
When you want. you can make use of the possibility to have dinner. The dinner will be served wine and coffee included.
Smoking:
Because we want everybody to enjoy the stay in our rooms, it is not allowed to smoke inside.

Through its variety and changing landscape each spot in this region will surprise youIn the area of culture and architecture the Charente has a rich heritage. There are many castles, forts, museums, lovely Roman churches and picturesque towns and villages that are well worth a visit.
The gastronomer can also do himself justice in this region. Foie gras, truffels, magret de canard, oysters and cheese are typical of the Charente cuisine, and then of course there's the famous cognac and Pineau de Charente. In addition the region produces a number of excellent wines.
The Charente has an excellent climate. The warm Gulf Stream generally keeps the temperature there at a comfortable level.
The exceptional hours of recorded sunshine are about the highest in France and match those of the Mediterranean.
Because the proximity of the ocean provides enough rainfall, however, the summer landscape is fresh and green.
